How To Play The Knight's Odyssey.

This video demonstrates the many features of The Knight's Odyssey challenge. This puzzles features 1 Medusa, 7 shields on the board and 4 shields in reserve.  The object of TKO is to maneuver the Knight to land on all squares, saving the home square for last all while avoiding an unprotected attack by the Medusa.

The Meduda attacks in the same manner as a Queen in traditional chess. Shields are the only way to avoid direct attack by a Medusa. if the path between the Knight and Medusa has a shield then the Medusa is blocked. If the Knight lands on a square that has a shield then the shield is used to block a single attack. if the Knight lands on an empty square that the Medusa can attack the Knight will then use 1 Shield in reserve for each attack.

This video demonstrates the Knight traversing through the board while avoiding being attacked by the two Medusas. While manipulating each move that the Knight makes you must pay attention to the values in the status bar that indicate the precise move that each Medusa can be attacked. Attacking too soon the game will end, too late and the game will end, although not right away but eventally.
